Abigail G. – Office Administrator
I started my dental career in May 2023 after spending 15 years working in Behavioral Health. I studied Recreational Therapy at Eastern Michigan University and worked at Havenwyck Hospital and Henry Ford Health Systems introducing patients to healthy coping skills and recreational activities. While dentistry is still newer to me, I am no stranger to health care and assisting patients in their journey to achieve their health and wellness goals.
When I am not at the office, I am coaching the Varsity Gymnastics team at Western High School and spending time with my Husband and my two pups Keeley-Bones (bernedoodle) and Phoebe (Shih Tzu).
Allison H. – Certified Dental Assistant & Registered Dental Assistant
I began my career in dentistry in 2003 as a co-op student through Career Center. I began working full-time after graduation and then went to Washtenaw Community College, where I obtained my license as a Registered Dental Assistant with an Associate degree in Applied Science. My favorite part of what I do is knowing that we are giving our patients the BEST possible care while helping them get healthy, whether it’s relieving their headaches with a bite splint, taking care of a toothache or seeing them smile bigger than they have in years when we give them their smile back.
Married Douglas in 2008 and we have 2 adult daughters, Kassondra and Macey and our son, Dallas is in high school. The girls gifted us with the an amazing blessing, 5 grandsons, Luca, Braxton, Bronson, Liam, and Noah. When I am not at the office, you will find me either chasing Dallas on an athletic field or enjoying my precious “Grammie” time.

Colleen S. – Registered Dental Hygienist
I have received my RDH degree from Ferris State University and I am licensed for EMS and laser treatment.
I am married and have been practicing in Jackson for several years. I am happy to serve and help patients with whatever their needs. It is a pleasure to make each dental hygiene therapy appointment a good experience.
I enjoy singing in the church choir, which performed at Carnegie Hall. I love dogs and enjoy walks in my spare time.
Kassondra H. – Office Administrator
Dr. Latz’s office was a place I remember spending time at as a child. My mom, Allison, has worked here since 2003 and was a major motivator in helping me jumpstart my dental career. I started my career in 2017, as a co-op student in high school my senior year and have been a chairside assistant since. I have both my RDA and CDA, as well as two associate degrees. While by trade, I am a Dental Assistant, I have hung up my scrubs (for the most part) and am an Office Administrator now. My favorite part of my job is seeing patients getting healthier.
When I am not at the office you will find my husband, Brandon, and I chasing around our two little boys Braxton and Bronson.

Kelsie G. – Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi there! My name is Kelsie Gariety and I have been working at Kellogg and Latz Dentistry since 2019. I started here as a Co-Op student through the Jackson Area Career Center my senior year of high school. When I graduated high school, Dr. Kellogg hired me full time as a Dental Assistant. I worked as a Dental Assistant for two years while completing my pre requisite classes for the dental hygiene program. I got accepted into Jackson College’s highly competitive Dental Hygiene program and graduated with my Associates degree in Applied Sciences, Dental Hygiene in April of 2023. I have always wanted to be a Dental Hygienist since I was a little girl because of my positive experiences I received when going to the dentist. I thoroughly enjoy helping and educating people on how to achieve a beautiful, confident, and healthy smile. I also love making connections with my patients and making them feel like family. I am constantly trying to learn the latest and greatest that this field has to offer by being a part of the Michigan Dental Hygienists Association. When I am not in the dental office providing patient care, you can find me at home spending time with my animals! I have a silver lab named Roxy, a donkey named JuneBug, and a horse named Rain! I also love going up to our family cabin in Lewiston to ride side by sides on the trails and spend time on the lake. Thank you for reading about me!
Kenzie S. – Dental Assistant
My love for dentistry began in 2017, during my senior year of high school where I attended the Jackson Area Career Center in the Dental Occupations Program. I started my career, working for my childhood dentist after graduating. I later started working at Kellogg and Latz Dentistry in December of 2021, as a hygiene coordinator, then transitioned to chair side assisting in April of 2023. Currently working on getting my CDA certification. My favorite part of my job is my patients and being able to connect with them and helping them with their whole body health. When I’m not here you will find me at my weekend job at the golf course, in the gym or watching the Detroit Lions!

Marie L. – Registered Dental Hygienist
In 1985 I received CDA from Washtenaw Community College and began working for Dr Latz as a chairside assistant. I returned to college at LCC receiving my Dental hygiene degree in 1991 and returned to work with Dr Latz again.
In 2017 I left dentistry to work in financial planning, returning again to Kellogg and Latz in 2020.
There have been many changes in technology in dentistry over the last 39 years which has been challenging and the same time, fulfilling. I have enjoyed working with our patients to help them discover their individual path to their health goals and have in turned learned so much from our patients throughout this journey.
As an aside: I think Doc is the most adorable Berniedoodle ever!!
Sarah F – Registered Dental Hygienist
I worked as a dental assistant for 5 years before graduating from Wayne County Community College’s dental hygiene program and obtaining my license as a registered dental hygienist in 2021. I’ve been apart of Dr. Kellogg’s wonderful team since 2022. I am certified in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), laser therapy, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide administration. I developed a passion for dentistry through my own experience as an Invisalign patient. Watching my smile transform was amazing! Seeing my oral and overall health improve while learning proper hygiene techniques is what drew me to the preventative aspect of dentistry. I have a lot to love about my job, but my favorite part is having the opportunity to educate patients who are looking to improve their health (just as I once was)! Outside of the office, I enjoy being on the lake, gardening, family time, and craft projects. I have 2 cats, which you may hear me lovingly refer to as “the big one” and “the little one”. Most excitingly, Daniel and I are brand new parents to a beautiful, healthy baby girl named Olivia who was born in March 2024.
