Meet Dr. Sara Kellogg

Dr. Sara Kellogg is passionate about providing comprehensive dental care to Jackson County and the surrounding areas. She takes pride in practicing patient-centered dentistry, collaborating with her patients to create personalized care plans that meet their unique needs. Dr. Kellogg is committed to ensuring her patients feel safe, informed, and genuinely heard during their visits. She firmly believes that understanding and achieving optimal oral health is essential for everyone.

A proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Kellogg finished near the top of her class and was honored with the Comprehensive Care Award by her faculty. After dental school, she deepened her expertise through a residency program at the University of Michigan and the VA Hospitals in Ann Arbor. Today, she remains closely connected to her alma mater as a member of the Board of Governors at the dental school.

Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Kellogg grew up in a small town in the state’s “thumb” region and has embraced the charm of small-town life throughout her career. Since starting her practice, she has been proudly serving the greater Jackson area.

Outside of work, Dr. Sara treasures time with her family and particularly loves watching her kids excel playing the many sports that they love! Whether she’s cheering them on at their games or coaching her daughter’s AAU and school basketball teams, being an active part of their lives brings her endless joy. When she finds a rare moment for herself, Dr. Kellogg enjoys traveling, reading, running outside, and spending time outdoors boating and doing water sports with her kids on beautiful Clark Lake.

Dr. Kellogg has a fierce love of learning and has logged hundreds of hours of continuing education to better herself as a clinician, leader, and teacher. Her passion for learning led her to the Pankey Institute, where she refined her technical and behavioral skills and embraced a comprehensive approach to dentistry. Her affiliation with the Pankey Institute also gave her the opportunity to study with Dr. Latz and other like-minded dentists in small groups.

She is an active member of the Pankey Institute, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and the American Equilibration Society (AES). She now serves on the advisory board and faculty of the Pankey Institute. With advanced knowledge and training, she takes great joy in treating TMJ, disorders of the TMJ (TMJD), bite disorders, smile makeovers, and cosmetic dentistry, and she also enjoys dental photography.

Dr. Kellogg approaches dentistry with passion and precision, and when combined with her artistic eye, it results in beautiful accuracy and outcomes for her patients.
